I Spy . . .

Another recipe to share with you. And an empty cake plate that proves it's worth a try. This is the aftermath of our special valentine's treat . . .

Go over to the Food Network's site and try Ina Garten's (the Barefoot Contessa) fantastic Beatty's Chocolate Cake. It's moist and delicious and has the most perfect little twist: coffee. We always substitute a 16-ounce tub of sour cream for the buttermilk that the recipe calls for. Makes the cake a little more dense but still unbelievably moist.
