It looks like the end is finally near for my first strip quilt. This is one of my last blocks which I finished up last week. As I was beginning to attach the last row to the rest of the quilt (because I'd decided to make it slightly longer than originally planned), I did notice an error in my sewing and had to go back last night and rip out some seams. The repair is made and now all that's left to do is attach the final row to the rest of the quilt and begin my quilting. Can't wait to share the top with you.
In the meantime . . . be amused by fascination with the trimmed edges of my blocks. I love how my scraps come off like a little string of flags (below). The scraps are barely usable for anything but how can I part with such cuteness?!
